One solver-verified board every UTC day

Today’s No-Guess Minesweeper

Play a fresh board that can be solved with logic alone—no 50/50 guesses required.

Fair by design

No-guess does not mean easy

Every move has a logical reason, but you still have to find it. Use a hint if you get stuck; hints count on your result card and never play the move for you.

Your time, attempts, and streak stay in this browser. There is no account or global leaderboard.

Reproducible generation

How each no-guess board is verified

  1. Generate from the UTC date. The date, generator version, difficulty, and candidate attempt produce a deterministic board seed.
  2. Replay forced moves. The same local rule engine used by the Solver plays only proof-backed safe reveals and mine flags. A candidate is rejected if replay stalls, repeats a state, or proposes an incorrect move.
  3. Publish an immutable artifact. An accepted board records its starting state, proof-step count, rule counts, and checksum. The build verifier replays published puzzles to completion and rejects changed checksums.
Exact promise

What “no-guess” guarantees

It guarantees a logical path

From the published starting state, the deterministic rule set can complete the board without choosing a cell by probability.

It does not prevent mistakes

You can still reveal a mine or place a wrong flag. Restart the same board or request a hint, which highlights one forced move without playing it.

One shared UTC puzzle

The challenge changes at the UTC date boundary. Everyone receives the same versioned board for that date.

Progress belongs to this browser

Completion, best time, hints, attempts, and streak are stored locally. Clearing site data removes that history because there is no account or cloud sync.
